This is an original speed changer and detent assembly for a small Nelson Brothers hit and miss gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a well done repair on the lower leg of the fork which can be seen in the pictures which won’t affect its performance. It is from a 1 1/2 or 2hp engine and is part number P-30. This was on a running engine when removed from service. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets!
