I believe this is a pump jack for a water well. It would have provided reciprocating motion to the well cylinder below it. It is in good original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs and stands about 24 inches tall. It has quite a bit of it’s original red paint and has a groove in the flywheel for a 1 inch wide belt. It turns over and has a cover on the back that would show the inner workings if it were made out of Lexan. This would be a great item if you wanted to build a can crusher or other back and forth motion item to run with your hit and miss gas engine at the shows. I can’t find a makers name anywhere on it but it does say “Patent Pending” on it. The pictures tell the story. I can deliver this LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, engine shows or swap meets later this year. It’s tough to find unusual belt driven pieces like this so don’t miss it!
