This is a real nice original 4-feed mechanical oiler or lubricator for an early gas engine, tractor, or other piece of machinery. It was made by Madison Kipp and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the sight tent needs the glass/plastic replaced. This is quite simple from an old 2 liter Coke bottle. It seems to have very little wear anywhere on it. The insides look to be in great condition. The ratchet handle only moves in one direction. The lubricator doesn’t turn but I didn’t want to force it. When the drive shaft is broken each end turns individually. This one isn’t broken yet and will likely be just fine after it is taken apart and freed up and cleaned. The outside of the case could also use a bit of cleaning but the old oil residue has certainly been a good preservative! It mounts with two holes about 9 1/2 inches apart on center. The case measures about 4 1/2 x 8 3/8 inches and is about 8 1/4 inches tall overall. It has the original serial tag on the top. I’ve had many of these lubricators over the years and this one has the least amount of usage or wear on any that I can remember. These oilers are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won’t be this nice. I can be reached at 262 573 1931 if you’d like to talk about it. The pictures tell the story.
