This is a real nice old cast iron pressure dome for a hot air engine or water pump of some sort. I think it is for a Rider Ericsson hot air engine as it came from an estate where one lived. It measures about 11 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter at its largest. The threads are about 2 5/16 inches in diameter. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of and I think it is ready to be used on an engine or other project. The pictures tell the story. These original pressure domes don’t turn up very often and they would be quite an undertaking to reproduce them so if you need one don’t miss your chance on it!
