I have had a handful of these Ideal and Bluffton engines, and this one is without question the nicest, both mechanically and cosmetically that I’ve owned. This engine is quite early I’ve been told, and it has 95% of the original dark brown paint on it yet! This engine is 100% complete and unmolested with the exception of a muffler. It even comes with the original starting crank which fits the crankshaft nice and tight, no slop at all, works great to start it. It also comes with the original tin cover that goes over the cooling fins and fan, I left it off since I know a lot of people like to see everything open. The engine is mounted on the original skids, and has the original battery box, and knife switch. The gas tank is also original and in great shape, no leaks. If you are looking for an all original little Bluffton, you will look a long time before you find another one this good! Comes with a nice Lunkenheimer oiler.
