New Live Steam Mill Engine with Flyball Governor. Sometimes referred to as a Box Bed Engine. Up for sale is my fifth fully machined and assembled mill steam engine from castings. Included: cross slide, flywheel, eccentric, piston and rings, and all moving parts for the engine. The bore is 3 inches with a 4-inch stroke. The overall length of the engine is 36″, the width 18″ and the height 23. One of the features of this engine is a flyball governor. The flywheel is 15 dia. The complete engine weighs 150 lbs. I estimate the hp at 3-4 depending on boiler pressure. The oiler and valves are included. It runs at 375 rpm wide open. Using the pulley you can step the rpm up to run a sawmill, dynamo or a alternator. The table and steam hoses in the video are not part of the sale. Get your own valid XHTML YouTube embed code.
