This is a very nice original and VERY hard to find brass check valve for a steam pump of some kind. I don’t know exactly what engine it is for and may fit several so if you know please educate me. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know or. With the exception of the lower tail nut it is complete with the dome and all of the internals are inside. Although it isn’t marked I think it was made by Buckeye Brass Works as most of these were. It has 1″npt male threads in both places and has “4425 in raised numbers on the body. The body measures about 12 inches tall. It looks to have some original green paint on the body. This is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original brass check valves are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one. The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way. I can be reached at 262-573-193 1 if you’d like to talk about it.
