This is an original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a 2 1/2 – 14hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. This is the heavier version with the cast ribs on the bottom. It is bracket number 303K26 and seems to be in excellent working condition. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than the mounting holes are a bit larger which shouldn’t affect anything. It mounts with two holes 2 1/4 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 2 x 2 inch hole pattern. The movable electrode moves nicely with very little wear and the points are in excellent condition. The advance/retard lever and roller move just as they should with some wear on the roller. It has the original priming cup on it. If you need an ignitor bracket like this for any reason here is a very nice one. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf.
