This is an original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a 2 1/2 – 14hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. This is the heavier version with the cast ribs on the bottom. It is bracket number 303K26 and seems to be in excellent working condition. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than the mounting holes are a bit larger which shouldn’t affect anything. It mounts with two holes 2 1/4 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 2 x 2 inch hole pattern. The movable electrode moves nicely with very little wear and the points are in excellent condition. The advance/retard lever and roller move just as they should with some wear on the roller. It has the original priming cup on it. If you need an ignitor bracket like this for any reason here is a very nice one. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf.

Please see pictures for the absolute best description! Head mounting studs measure 5 1/4 on center from across from one another. At one point and time this cylinder has been sleeved as you can see in the pictures. The cylinder sleeve looks nice and clean and pit free except the sleeve isn’t the whole length of the cylinder for some reason. Here is a governor bracket with governor for a 2-1/2hp to 14hp Hercules and Economy engines. It appears to be in good original shape. It is missing the detent and speed changer. Take a look at the pictures and see if you need it. Original Part, no cracks, breaks, or welds. All the holes and the push rod slot look really good and not worn. The gov spindle doesn’t have much wear. This should fit most all the Hercules and Economy engines 2-1/2hp to 14hp. This is not for Sparta type Economy engines. Mounts to the engine with two bolt holes 2 apart on center. If you have questions 419 789 1159. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. Wisconsin dairy barn fresh 1 1/4hp Monitor VJ Farm Pump Engine with original pump jack. It’s just the way we like to find them with nice original paint and lots more to be found under the years of oil. Engine is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than the starting handle which has been replaced with a bolt. It has the original pulley as can be seen. The pumpjack has some wear but is in good shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs except an old braze repair on the original Baker/Monitor pump clamp. The engine has some compression but would benefit from a good valve cleaning as I can hear it leaking past them. It would be a nice original engine addition to your collection.
