Nice clean appearing igniter! Has good spring tension! I don’t see why it shouldn’t work with little to no adjustments, however it could definitely be possible springs may need adjusting depending whether you plan to run your engine with a magneto or a battery and coil. I don’t see any breaks or repairs, there is some “holes” air pockets but I believe that’s just a casting flaw. Shouldn’t affect its performance at all.
