This is a nice original Acme Brass Works 1 1/2 npt vertical type check foot valve for the infeed hose for a steam traction engine water tender wagon. It measures about 5 3/4 inches tall overall and is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The 1 1/2 npt threads are in great shape. The valve moves as it should. It appears to be ready to go to work for you. If you need one for a project here is a pretty nice one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story.
