This is an original cast iron piston and rod for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse ZC (enclosed) hit and miss gas engine. The rod is part number ZAA18B. The assembly is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The wrist pin seems to have very little wear. The connecting rod bearing looks to be in excellent condition. The piston is 3 5/8 inches in diameter. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original Fairbanks Morse parts are exceedingly tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! This is an original early style fuel mixer or carburetor for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It mounts to the side of the head where the throttle shaft is in the head on the earlier style engines with two holes 1 5/8 inches apart on center so do your homework to be sure it is for your application. It is in sound condition with no cracks, breats, or repairs in the body. The fuel needle moves as it should and looks good. The fuel pump plunger is stuck. The drain/fuel selector pin is deteriorated and needs to be replaced. The threads for one fuel line have a broken off nipple that needs to be removed and the other one is very nice. With a little effort this would be a nice, usable mixer. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here is a decent one. This is for the smaller throttle governed engines such as the dishpan or spoked flywheel Z, in the 1-1/2 to 2hp size but NOT the ZD. This is painted green with yellow needle valves. Both needle valves turn as they should. The 2x 7/16″ mounting holes are 2-1/4″ on center. The throttle moves and is spring loaded. It was originally for a Fairbanks Morse Jack Jr or a Headless Z engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has some lite rust on it but nothing that takes away from its looks or functionality. It has a 4 1/2 inch face and is 6 inches in diameter. It mounts to every other spoke of the flywheel with three holes 3 7/8 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. These original cast iron pulleys are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they really set an engine off! They also make it possible to run belt driven implements with your engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. For your consideration, is an original cylinder head for a Fairbanks Morse model Z style B 5hp engine. The 3/4″ mounting holes are 4-1/2″ on center but I believe they’re 5/8″ studs, the overall diameter is 7-5/8″. A 1-1/2NPT pipe threaded into the exhaust port by hand. The valves move and are spring loaded. The carburetor mounting holes are 3-1/4″ on center, with a 1-1/4″ intake hole. The 1/2 NPT threads for the spark plug are in good condition. It has a repair on the water jacket which appears to be well done and isn’t noticeable well when on the engine. It’s in original patina.
