I think this is off of a 2 1/2 hp Lauson model WA. I don’t see any breaks or repairs. There is no play in shaft and does not show wear. Gear is 5 1/8 to outside. Should be ready to bolt on and use. Most of my item are old and I will try to do my best to give an accurate description.

This is an original fuel mixer or carburetor for a John Lauson or Alpha DeLaval Model W hit and miss gas engine. It may fit other models or sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the disc on the fuel needle which works as it should as does the choke plate. It mounts with three holes 1 3/8 inches apart on center and the hole in that mounting flange is about 3/4 inch in diameter. I believe this is for the 1 1/2hp engines. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. I believe this mixer is ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. This is an original cast iron piston and rod for a John Lauson or Alpha DeLaval Model W 2 1/2hp hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The rod is part number WA25. The assembly is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The wrist pin seems to have some mild wear. The connecting rod bearing looks to be in excellent condition. The piston is 4 inches in diameter. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It will need a wrist pin set screw to be complete. These original Lauson parts are exceedingly tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! This is an original cast iron piston and rod for a John Lauson Frost King Jr or Alpha DeLaval Jr hit and miss gas engine. The rod is part number JR 1 1/2HP. This is a new old stock fuel tank for a Lauson or Alpha DeLaval hit and miss gas engine. I acquired several of these NOS tanks from a descendant of a fella that worked in the John Lauson sheet metal shop and was told to destroy them after Lauson was bought out. Instead they made their way home with him. I have a few different sizes but limited quantities of each. This one measures about 4 x 7 x 24 inches long. It is painted just the way it was in the factory with the exposed part being red. It would work as a gas tank for any engine you’d prefer to use it on. It has a few very minor dings or small dents from it’s near death experience in the metal dumpster but it is new and has never had fuel in it. It was originally for a duel fuel engine and has a small compartment in the front for starting gas that’s plumbed with the outlet on the opposite end of the tank. It needs one neck soldered on and also a cap. Other than these additions and some minimal cleaning it should be ready to be used on your project. Rear axle brackets are not original cart wouldve originally had a piece of wood on top of the axle in the back. A very hard to find cart for a rare small side shaft engine. Wood is not original.
