Cast Iron MAYTAG Twin Cylinder Gas Tank. Fits twin cylinder Maytag. Tank measures 13″ L x 7 1/2″ W x 3 H. 11 1/4″ x 6 3/8″ 4 ear mounting pattern. I apologize for any inconvenience. Antique Hit & Miss Toolbox. International Gas Engine Co. The International Gas Engine Co. (Ingeco), of Cudahy Wis. Appeared in the gas engine community in early 1912 with a vast line of stationary engines, including push-rod style farm engines, side-shaft engines and vertical engines. The vertical and horizontal engines were available as hopper-cooled as well as tank cooled. Ingeco built a horizontal air-cooled engine as well. The diversity of fuel usage in this line of engines included gas, gasoline, oil and producer gas. The company featured horsepower ratings to fit the needs of almost anyone, including sizes from 1-1/2 to 350 horsepower. Leather strap handles on sides a bit tattered, no strap. Wood and hardware in good shape, no lock. Four pull out drawers. Last photo is an example of an “Ingeco” engine (reference only). A couple Bullock Electric Mfg. Stickers on the inside and a couple unreadable motor tags are nailed to the top (i did not attempt to clean them up). Approximately 21 inches wide X 14 inches tall X 7 inches deep. Hard to find original cast iron olds carburetor. I think this will fit a 3 or 4 hp stationary gas engine. Bolt pattern is 2 inch center to center. No needle valve but in great shape with some original paint. No cracks breaks or welds. Carb even has the original screen over the air intake. Good loose working choke. Rare Early Maytag Side Exhaust Engine Model 92 Motor 1928 Runs Great! Here is a scarce early Side Exhaust Maytag 92. These were only made right at the beginning of the Model 92 production. I believe this one was made in 1928. As far as I can tell, it looks to have all the correct parts so be a side exhaust engine from that year. It does seep some gas out around the top of the tank while running. I think it might be missing a gasket here, but it doesnt seem to affect the running. It runs great and starts easy. I own several of these Maytags in my collection, and they are a great hobby. This would look great at an engine show, or just have it to teach the grandkids about history!
