IGNITER for 1-1/2hp, 3hp, 6hp JOHN DEERE E GAS ENGINE Hit and Miss JD E108R

Nice working igniter for a 1 1/2HP, 3HP, 6HP John Deere E! I actually hooked a battery/coil up to this igniter and gave it a trip by hand a nice hot spark shot out of the points! Spring tension seems good. I don’t see why it shouldn’t work with little to no adjustments, however it could definitely be possible that the springs may need adjusting depending on whether you plan to run your engine with a magneto or a battery and coil. I don’t see any breaks or repairs. Please see all pictures for the absolute best description! IGNITER for 1-1/2hp, 3hp, 6hp JOHN DEERE E GAS ENGINE Hit and Miss JD E108R.

Here is an original Webster igniter bracket for a Ottawa gas engine. Unfortunately the hole where the primer screws into was recently broken. I think it would be extremely easy to solder or braze that area to fix it. This bracket shows no signs of use. The gold on it is original paint from the magneto I took off it. Please take a look at the pics. For questions 419 789 1159. Mounts to the engine with 2 holes that are 2 apart on center. Take a Webster K or L magneto with a 2″ x 2″ bolt pattern. No wear, I believe it is New Old Stock. The primer hole has some slight cracking around but I think it would be an easy thing to repair. Thanks for looking at this listing! Antique Aircooled IHC Tom Thumb Cylinder Hit Miss Engine Parts G6527

Up for sale is a original cylinder from a IHC Aircooled Tom Thumb hit & Miss engine. Good spark plug threads. Good fan assembly threads. Good cylinder Oiler threads. One fin is chipped. No other breaks or welds. 3 11/16 cylinder bore. Valve chest area looks good with minor dings to where the gaskets would seat, very usable. Please read and see all pictures as I’ll do my best to describe it!! When looking at the back of the cylinder (where part numbers are located) from the edge of the skirt and into the cylinder about 4 inches or 3 fins in, the cylinder walls look great. After 4 inches in, the walls have pitting clear to the front of the cylinder. Also, where that 4inch mark is (or 3 fins in) there is a deep groove that is at the bottom of the cylinder and is around 2 inches widespread at the bottom area. It is a rather deep groove and I’m not sure if it’s from rust or water damage but it certainly will be an issue with the rings of a piston if something isn’t done. Sorry for the confusing description and hopefully some of it makes sense. Please see all pictures.

Here is “MOST” of an original wooden battery box for an old hit & miss engine. Made by National carbon Co. The bottom in NOT attached and the top is missing. The paper directions are in excellent condition and unbelievable that it has survived. Has the original knife switch mounted to the box. The box measures 11 1/2″ wide, 6″ deep and 7 1/2 tall. The inside of the box has a lot of black goop or tar. AGAIN, THE BOTTOM OF THE BOX IS NOT ATATCHED AND THE TOP OF THE BOX IS MISSING!
