The governor yoke is broke and the weights are missing, also the pot metal on the throttle butterfly is no good. Other than those things, this engine looks to be in very nice shape. The ignitor trip assembly with the eccentric arm that rides on the camshaft IS INCLUDED it’s just not on the engine, there wasn’t one on it when I bought it, but I’m including one from my parts supply (see picture). Original muffler, pulley, magneto, ignitor, crankcase breather, fuel pump, etc… Are all there and all look to be in really good shape, even the gas tank looks solid! The engine is stuck so it will need some work to get running again. Free storage for up to 6 months. This engine will be a fun, easy project for a beginner, or anybody! Feel free to ask questions! Lots of original paint!! Tin pulley has a few small dents but at least its there!!! RARE AB33 Bosch Magneto plug oscillator. Hard to find tin Crank cover. No cbw’s that I could find. Has spark, has compression. I have not heard this engine run before, shouldn’t take to much tinkering to make it a nice runner, this is just how I got it. Comes with original starting crank. Or I can store as long as needed. It is one of the rarer models, and in my opinion has a lot of nice to look at monkey motion. The way the magneto trips and detent works is nice to watch. This engine is very unworn, gears are in great shape, and valves have very little slop. Compression is really strong. Has a nice, brass, ball check oiler on it. It is mounted on the original skids, and i believe the gas tank is also correct. The only weld on the engine that i can see, is a braze on the rocker arm, which appears to be a very good job. The only other flaw with the engine, is the pulley side flywheel does have a slight wobble. I’ve looked the flywheel over and don’t see anything wrong, it will never give you any trouble. The wico ek magneto is nice and hot. Overall this is a really nice, tight, strong running engine, and a model and size you almost never see for sale. I can deliver this engine for $40 to portland, in or coolspring, pa shows and swap events this year. I can also personally deliver this, for $75 anywhere in ohio, kentucky, or tennessee sometime within the next two months. You can also pick it up here for free, we are 100 miles north of detroit. I can store the engine under cover for 6 months, for no charge until you come get it. Feel free to ask questions. This engine is in nice shape, and starts right up and runs strong. It is mounted on the original skids. It has a very well built cooling tank with gas tank underneath, if you had to build that cooling tank it would cost you quite a lot. Whoever built the gas tank and cooling tank was very skilled. This engine has no cracks, breaks or welds. The checkvalve has a small bit of solder on it, but that is only the checkvalve, and can be replaced, even though it works fine, i personally would leave it alone. Water jacket is perfect, no cracks or issues at all, which is very rare for these engines. Engine starts very easily. It has the correct belt pulley. Carburetor and air valve are both is excellent condition. Flywheels run true, with no issues. Compression is pretty good. Advance/retard lever works great, and you can idle this engine right down where to probably 100 rpm! You hardly ever see these engines for sale, and almost never see them running at shows. This one is show ready, add gas, oil, water for the tank, and hit the road!!! I can deliver this engine for $40 to portland, in or coolspring, pa shows and swap events this year.
