1 1/4hp Monitor VJ Farm Pump Engine with original pump jack. Engine is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than a chipped tooth on the pump driver gear and a homemade timer contact which would be easy to replace. Restoration was not quite finished on this engine but it was pretty close. The engine needs a governor weight and a detent finger added to be complete. (I will give contact info for parts suppliers) It has excellent compression and also has the original gas tank, muffler (not in the pics but painted as the rest of the engine and included) and serial tag on it and it should be a pretty straightforward project. The pumpjack is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs and has the original Baker/Monitor pump clamp and Monitor cross brace on the uprights. With just a little effort this will make a nice working display. The hardest part of the project is already done! It would be a nice addition to your collection. Here is an original governor setup for a 2-1/2hp to 12hp Hercules, Economy, or Jeager engine. It is in great shape. The governor weight spindle fits nice and tight in its hole. 2 1/4hp Galloway Boss of the Farm hit and miss engine. Valves have been done but need to be lapped in. Engine looks to have a new sleeve in it. Rings will need to be seated. Missing rocker arm and push rod. Cam shaft needs holder for detent. Repair on the detent but could easily be ground down. Old repair on the bottom of the water jacket which is hard to see. Has a v-groove in the pulley side flywheel like a couple others I’ve seen. The pitting in the groove matches the rest of the engine so it’s been there a long time… Likely from the factory. Would be a great winter project! I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Coolspring, PA, later this month or LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, next year. Here is an original bolt on 12 clutch pulley for a Hercules, Economy, Arco, or Jeager engine. This pulley is in great shape and pretty much ready to use. The handle is a has some wear and is a little loose but it will work fine as it is. I think it would be easy to tighten up if someone chose to but it will certainly work fine as it is. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. 12″ diameter, 6-1/8″ wide belt surface. Bolts onto every other flywheel spoke. The mounting bolts are about 9-1/2 apart on center from each other. No cracks, breaks or welds that I can see or know of. Fits 2-1/2hp to 14hp engines. This is a heavy part, 66 lbs before the box and packing material. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. Here is a nice Edgemont clutch pulley for a 2-1/2hp to 14hp Hercules, Economy, Jeager, or Arco engine. It seems to be in nice shape and should be pretty much ready to use. The main shaft is a little loose on the carrier, that is a common problem with this type of clutch. It has probably been like that for a long time and should continue to work like that. I think it would be easy to fix by drilling and tapping it for a set screw. Take a look at the pictures and see if you should have it. For a 2-1/2hp to 14hp Hercules built engine. Seems to work as it should. Bolts to every other spoke, mounting holes are 9-1/2 apart on center. Weight 71lbs before any box or packing materials. Most items will go out faster though. Here is an original bolt on 16 clutch pulley for a Hercules, Economy, Arco, or Jeager engine. This pulley is in great shape and pretty much ready to use. One of the small wood blocks used for friction material is missing. It would be super easy to make and install a replacement if you wanted to. I think it would probably work fine missing the one block. There is a casting flaw near one of the mounting tabs. That has been there since it was new, it will not hurt anything, and will not be able to be seen when installed on the engine. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. 16″ diameter, 6-3/8″ wide belt surface. Bolts onto every other flywheel spoke. This engine is approximately 30 1/2 inches tall, 22 inches wide, and 20 inches deep. The flywheel is approximately 17 3/4 inch diameter and contains a foldup cranking handle. It has a pancake type muffler. This engine is vertical with the cast water jacket above and around the head. In the pictures, AS IS. Here is an original bolt on pulley for a Hercules, Economy, Arco, or Jeager engine. This pulley is in great shape and ready to use. Some holes in the face that once probably held on belting material on the pulley for extra traction. Many engine pulleys are like this and I don’t think it hurts anything at all. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. Bolts onto every other flywheel spoke. The mounting bolts are about 9-1/2 apart on center from each other. Fits 2-1/2hp to 14hp engines. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back.
