Here is an original bolt on pulley for a Hercules, Economy, Arco, or Jeager engine. This pulley is in great shape and ready to use. Some holes in the face that once probably held on belting material on the pulley for extra traction. Many engine pulleys are like this and I don’t think it hurts anything at all. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. Bolts onto every other flywheel spoke. The mounting bolts are about 9-1/2 apart on center from each other. Fits 2-1/2hp to 14hp engines. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. Here is a pretty nice old 2 1/4hp Associated Hired Man hit and miss gas engine. It is fresh from an old collection where it lived for many years. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks or repairs other than the missing speed changing screw and some heavy solder and a new filler neck on the original embossed gas tank. This could be cleaned up a bit and look a little more presentable if you so choose. It turns over nicely with decent compression and everything seems to move and function as it should. There is very little wear on the gearing or in the bearings. It is an earlier engine with the straight ignitor trip and I don’t think it ever had a magneto on it. It has the original belt pulley and name tag on it. I think with a little fresh gas and a battery and coil this engine would fire right up and make noise. This is one of the harder to find Associated sizes. It would be a fine addition to your early hit and miss engine collection or Associated lineup. The pictures tell the story. You’ll like it. I can deliver this for free to Symco, WI, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, engine shows or several auctions later this year. Very nice little 2 1/4hp Galloway hopper cooled hit & miss gas engine. Starts easy and runs great. Looks to have some original paint the current paint. It is missing the bottom choke plate portion of the mixer. There is a piece of tin in its place and runs fine the way it is. Nice original tag on the back of the base. Nice clean little engine. Here is a nice Edgemont clutch pulley for a 2-1/2hp to 14hp Hercules, Economy, Jeager, or Arco engine. It seems to be in nice shape and should be ready to use. Take a look at the pictures and see if you should have it. For a 2-1/2hp to 14hp Hercules built engine. Seems to work as it should. Bolts to every other spoke, mounting holes are 9-1/2 apart on center. No cracks, breaks, or welds that I can see or know of. Weight 71lbs before any box or packing materials. This engine is in excellent original shape, has quite a lot of original paint on it yet. It is in just as good of condition mechanically, compression is excellent, virtually no wear on the moving parts, flywheels run true etc…. There is not one bad thing I can say about this engine other than it’s missing the muffler, and gas tank, in the video I’m just feeding it gas with a squirt can. The pulley on it, is the factory pulley that came with it. Has a nice ball check Lonergan oiler on it that works perfect. It is mounted on a nice thick, hardwood Ash plank that really looks nice under it. Nameplate is original and in good shape. This engine comes with a nice HOT buzz coil! Carburetor is correct and works as it should. Like I said there is nothing bad about this engine, hits nice and strong, and coasts really nice for such a small engine. There are no bad clunks or knocks when it’s running, and no cracks breaks or welds anywhere on this engine that I can find. Has a really old collectible spark plug in it, that goes with the engine. Hopper holds water fine, no leaks. Take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself, these Handy Andy engines are quite hard to find, and pricy when you do find one. This engine is in great shape, only negative thing I can say, is that the crank handle in the flywheel is missing, which is only a bent piece of steel with a wood handle, would be an easy thing to make. Engine is just as easy or easier to start by turning the flywheel. Other than that, this engine is totally complete and show ready. Good compression, and it starts right up with no trouble every time. Has the original nameplate on it yet, as well as the cast iron gas tank with correct gas fittings. No gas or water leaks, and no cracks breaks or welds! I have the engine slowed down a lot in the video, if you want it to hit harder and coast longer, just tighten the nut on the governor spring. These little Monitors are out there, but you don’t see one running at every show! This engine just needs a new owner and a show to take it to, NO tinkering required. This engine is in excellent shape, with nice compression. The only two things not correct, are the rocker arm and rocker stand, but they work fine, just as they are. This engine has the hard to find webster magneto setup on it. Flywheels run straight as an arrow. There are no cracks, breaks or welds that i can find. Has a nice ball check oiler on it, and also has the original nameplate as well. The cart it is on, is very nicely built, it looks so good, you would think it’s the original cart. No water or gas leaks anywhere. Speed control nob works perfectly, it will idle down to where the crank will almost stop when it fires. Engine is totally complete with original belt pulley, and ball muffler. This engine needs nothing but a new owner and some shows to take it to. I can deliver this engine for $40 to portland, in or coolspring, pa shows and swap events this year. I can also personally deliver this engine for $75 anywhere in ohio, kentucky, or tennessee sometime within the next month (must be paid for). You can also pick it up here free, we are 100 miles north of detroit. I can store the engine under cover for 6 months, for no charge until you come get it. Feel free to ask questions.
