This is a real nice original Chandler belt driven piston type water pump. It is in excellent original condition as can be seen and retains nearly all of its original paint. There is almost no wear on it anywhere and all of the moving parts are nice and tight. There’s even paint down in the gear teeth and on the drive pulley yet! I highly doubt it was used very much at all. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs on it that I can see or know of. It was made by the Chandler Pump Company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and measures about 40 inches long and 16 1/2 inches tall at it’s tallest. It would be a fine addition to your early machinery collection or display and would look great running it with a gas engine at the shows! The pictures tell the story. It’s tough to find them this nice as they’re usually all worn out. This one is as close to NOS as you could hope to find and may need new leathers at the very most! I can deliver this to Coolspring, PA, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or some other shows or auctions I attend later this year for free.
