1 1/4 hole diameter. Removed from a 4Hp cushman. Clutch is very stiff. I mounted the outer pulley in a vise, and found a shaft to stick down the center and used the set screws to tighten it down, I was able to get the center section to turn but is very stiff. I believe it should loosen up with some more time and elbow grease. See pictures for the absolute best description! Please keep in mind this is a 100 year old item and is far from new. Up for sale is a really nice cushman 4 hp engine with a rare banjo cart. The engine has seen better days. There is a crack in the water jacket. Engine is loose and has great compression. Missing the carb and water tanks. The good thing is the cart. No cracks breaks or welds. All original cart with what looks like the original handle. This is a very nice hard to find cart. I can hold for a month or two if need be. I will also trade for Maytags or Economy 1 1/2 engines. This is a Pretty Nice old Cushman “C” Radiator Cooled Stationary / Farm Engine with a nice Magneto & Very nice Oak skids & Clutch. As can be seen in pic’s the radiator will need some repair. The engine is about 99% complete, but does need a couple very minor trinkets. This is a rather rare version of what is otherwise a fairly common engine. Or more pic’s please ask. Approx 1918 Cushman Binder motor. Figured out that the butterfly shaft was sucking air. Plugged with Teflon tape to get it to run. Have replacement carb, correct oiler, and new fuel tank.
