Here is a very nice Bosch AB33 long arm magneto. This mag appears to be in great shape but doesn’t have any spark. I think it might just need a new condenser. These are typically used on FM Z engines. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. 1-11/16″ x 2-3/16″ mounting pattern. The trip finger is about 5 long from the center of its mounting hole to the tip. There is a little bit of brazzing on the end of the trip finger, that is very common with these mag as people do that to change the timing of the engine a little bit, it doesn’t hurt anything and would be super easy to remove. The hole threads are great. The armature bushings have some wear but should be fine. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. Thanks for looking at this listing! This is a VERY hard to find original Bosch DU4 Dual 4-cylinder base mount magneto. It has a brass base and turns over nicely. I checked it and did get spark out of it. The Dual magnetos were for applications where the engine started on battery and then switched over to magneto ignition to preserve batteries. It has two sets of points for this reason. This magneto is in pretty good shape but it isn’t perfect as can be seen. It needs a spark tube and should probably be gone through and cleaned at the very least. The threaded end of the armature is broken off as can be seen but this should be and easy repair and might hold a nut the way it is. The magneto is clockwise rotation. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. These original brass based DUAL magnetos are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a pretty good one that could be really nice with a little attention. Offered for your consideration is an antique Fairbanks Morse Z model 1 1/2 horsepower hit and miss stationary engine. It turns smoothly and has compression. It has been stored in a farm workshop out of the elements. I researched the engine and found that Fairbanks Morse did make a 1 1/2 hp Bosch magneto sparkplug model. That is all the information that I could find. I have a very small amount of knowledge on these engines so please ask any questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability. I gave the engine a light cleaning however, I did not clean out the fuel tank. The pictures show the condition better than I can describe. This is a VERY hard to find original Bosch FU4 4-cylinder base mount magneto. It was used on some of the Hart Parr tractors and portable engines and probably had other 4-cylinder applications like Crossmotor Case tractors and some early cars and trucks. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It is clockwise rotation and the impulse works as it should. It turns over very nicely and seems to have very little wear in the bearings or the impulse. Everything seems to work as it should. It has good magnetism and puts out a nice blue spark on three of the wires but not on the fourth one. It is likely a bad wire that needs to be replaced which should be pretty straightforward. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in great shape. It mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape in three of the holes but kind of weak in one of the holes which could easily be repaired with a helicoil type repair. These original FU4 magnetos are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a really nice one. This is a very nice original American Bosch FX1 ED1 high tension magneto for an old engine. It was factory equipment on some of the International Harvester Type M engines. The bearings have almost no noticeable wear and it turns over very smoothly with good magnetic pull. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It puts out a good, hot, blue spark that will surely run an engine if it is set up properly with the addition of the correct gear for your application. It has the original points cover and everything inside is in great shape. It has a 30 tooth gear on it now for the 1 1/2hp engine but this could easily be changed. It mounts on a 1 7/8 x 3 3/8 pattern. These original Bosch FX1 magnetos are getting tougher to find every day so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. This is a real nice original Bosch Model BAO trip magneto. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. Other than missing a couple screws on the spring face and needing a new leadout wire. It mounts with four holes on a 1 7/8 x 3 3/8 inch pattern. There is minimal wear in the bearings and everything inside the points housing is in great shape. Everything moves as it should. I checked it just before taking the pictures and it puts out a nice, hot, blue spark that should run your engine if it is set up properly. These magnetos were used on some Witte and Meco engines and probably some others. They are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf.
