There are 3 small removable bolts in the hopper section. There was a green plastic funnel mounted on this grinder but that funnel was old plastic and had various cracks in it. That funnel is not included but I can send photos of it.

Note: One of the mounting cast iron base brackets is broken off, but is shown & included in the photos. Of course this can be repair welded. Flat pulley on the end has a 3-1/4″ wide face and is approx 5″ diameter. Overall, Approx 8-1/4 inches tall. And approx 10-1/2 inches long from the edge of the flat drive pulley to the burr plates adjuster on the other end of the shaft.

For sale is a burr grinder. It is not marked Stover but I’m pretty sure it was made by Stover and is the same as another one I have that does have Stover cast into the cover. Here is a antique feed grinder in need of a complete restoration, or use it for parts. It will need a new sheet metal hopper fabricated for it, and a complete restoration. There is a piece broken on one section of the auger/roller, (see picture). It is one of the tabs that hold the sections together, it might not affect the performance, but you look and see what you think. Wisconsin granary fresh original Kelly Duplex #2 feed grinder. It has quite a bit of original paint as can be seen and it turns as it should. It has a very old repair on the housing and also on the burr but it is solid and worked this way for many years after the repair according to the previous owner. It is missing a belt pulley/gear that would go on the shaft sticking out of the hopper but this was only for grinding ear corn which he said he can’t remember them ever grinding. It works just fine without this pulley/gear for small grains which is what they used it for. It seems to have minimal wear and should make a nice working display run by an engine at the shows. These original belt driven farm implements are getting tougher to find with each passing year! Original United Hit Miss Gas Engine Co Cast Iron Burr Grinder. Very nice original paint United burr mill grain grinder that stands 24 1/2 tall overall. It has the name UNITED MODEL 4 UNITED ENGINE CO. Cast on the burr cover plate. The steel hopper is 12 diameter across the top and in great condition with original faded paint. The cast iron bowl it fits into is 6 3/8 inside diameter. Mill turns ok, belt pulleys are 8 1/2″ diameter with a 2″ face both have a place for a set screw, one could work as an. Pulley and they are on a 1 diameter shaft. Burrs look to be in good condition. No cracks, welds or repairs. Check out my other auctions for old farm engine and tractors parts! In great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except the rooster comb for the adjuster which shouldn’t be an issue and is hard to notice. Rolls nicely with minimal bearing wear and has a good amount of original paint, lettering, and decorations on it. It also gives the rated speeds for 3, 4, and 6hp engines which I haven’t seen before. It grinds as it should according to the previous owner and should be ready to go to the shows for you. It’s getting tougher to find original implements like this with each passing year!!
