Here is a Lunkenheimer 3/4 left hand fuel mixer. Its in great shape. The air valve is worn a little bit but it will work fine. The hole for a cotter pin to keep a spring on the air valve has been broken out, that would be extremely to solder on one side. The originally came off a 2hp Arco (Hercules) engine. The fuel line is soldered into the fitting is original but that solder should melt out fine and there should be regular threads in there (I think). Check out the pictures and see if you need it. This is a very hard to find original Kingston L3 brass carburetor for an early farm tractor, power unit, car, or truck. It may also have other applications so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is mostly brass and is fresh from an old collectors estate and seems to be in good, used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. Everything moves as it should. The throttle shaft and the choke shaft have only very slight wear. It looks like the throttle plate and screws are new. It mounts with two holes 2 1/2 inches apart on center. The mounting holes have been elongated a bit but this won’t affect anything. The intake hole is 1 3/8 inches in diameter and the hole where it mounts is 1 3/16 inches in diameter. The fuel needle moves as it should. The float looks like brand new and is in excellent condition. These original Kingston L3 carburetors are exceedingly tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a very nice one. Let the pictures be your guide. These carburetors were used on many early tractors and power units and are a very universal style. This is a large and impressive and very hard to find original Stromberg M-5 brass carburetor for an early farm tractor, power unit, car, or truck. It may also have other applications so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. A customer noticed the old friction tape around the manifold neck just above the brass carb body, I cut and dug it off and cast iron threads have a crack in them and tape was used to seal it.
