Here is a connecting rod that I think it for a 1-1/2hp Waterloo Boy or similar engine. Seems to be in great shape and ready to use. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. No cracks, breaks, or welds. About 14-7/8 in overall length not counting the grease fitting. About 13-1/8 from center hole to center hole. The wrist pin hole is 3/4 in diameter. The crankshaft bearing is about 1-1/4″ in diameter and about 1.2805″ wide. Thanks for looking at this listing! Vtg Hit & Miss Engine 4 Dia Piston Rod Cap 12 Connecting Rod Associated United

Nice vintage hit & miss engine piston and rod. Estate find of a large hit & miss collection so I do not know which engine it is correct for so consider pictures and measurements to determine if it is right for you. Connecting rod – ABY. Piston is 4 in diameter. Message from a collector (not confirmed by me but maybe helpful). The connecting rod fits both 1 3/4 HP and 2 1/4 HP Associated gas engines, in both the water cooled version and the air cooled version. If the piston has the letters ABW on it, then this combo is for a 1 3/4 HP engine. If the piston has the letters AKY, then the combo is for a 2 1/4 HP engine. I’m not certain, but I think the 1 3/4 HP would use a 3 3/4″ diameter piston and the 2 1/4 HP would use a 4″ diameter piston.

It is in pretty good shape. The rod bearing has a small crack but I would use it as it is without question. For questions 419 789 1159. Part No is hard to read. Wrist pin is 3/4 hole diameter. Meant for a 1-1/4″ crankshaft, the bearing is about 1-1/2″ wide. It is about 11-1/2 from center hole to center hole. About 13-1/2 overall not counting grease cups or bolts. Rod bearing has a slight crack but that shouldn’t hurt a thing. Very hard part to find. Thanks for looking at this listing! Here is an original connecting rod for a 2-1/4 Hercules, Economy, Jeager, or Arco Engine. Take a look at the pictures, check the measurements, and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. 3/4 wrist pin hole. 1-3/8″ crank bearing, that bearing is 1-3/8″ wide. Center to center on the holes its 12. The overall length without the bolts and nuts is about 14-1/8. No Cracks, Breaks, or Welds. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months.
