Not seen as often – Small Open crank version of the coffin top – these dated between the older tulip top style and the closed case coffin top CT line. Has good compression think its missing a ring should have real good compression with a quick hone and another ring, it. Has a couple well done repairs. Very small engine on original steel skids. Has a nice gear on it. Mostly complete will need some parts & work, good project engine. PLEASE NOTE – Most items are used and/or are very old. They are not going to be in perfect shape. This is a pretty nice original crank guard or splash shield for an old Fairbanks Morse gas engine. I believe it is for the 1 1/2hp Z and also the Dishpan Z engines. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts with two ears about 7 1/2 inches apart on center but this is a bit arbitrary as the ears can move in or out to accommodate the engine’s bolt pattern. It has some mild pitting which won’t affect anything. These original crankguards are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and many of them are missing. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. This one is ready to be put to work on an engine or put into your inventory for a spare. The pictures tell the story. This is a real nice original crank guard or splash shield for a larger Nelson Brothers hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. At least I’m pretty sure it’s Nelson Bros… If it isn’t please educate me! It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is about 6 1/8 inches wide and about 17 inches long. It is part number A-60 and mounts with one hole in the back of the crankcase of the engine. These original crankguards are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and many of them are missing. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. This one is ready to be put to work on an engine or put into your inventory for a spare. The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way. This is a really nice original and rare BF Avery cream separator made by BF Avery in Louisville, Kentucky in the early to mid 19teens. It is a Model 40 and is in excellent used condition with most of it’s original paint, stenciling, and striping! The bearings all seem to be in good shape. It turns as it should even after sitting for many years. It stands about 45 1/2 inches tall. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the original valve in the bowl and the original pail shelf is on it. It even has the original float in the top spout. This is a very rare cream separator with only 3 total Avery separators known and this being the oldest of the 3. (This information was supplied by the fella that wrote the collectible cream separator book). This would be a great addition to your Avery collection or display. I can deliver to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, next year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. This is an extremely rare original “DEERE” wooden corn sheller from Deere and Mansur. It is an early wooden sheller that is fresh from the granary of a Wisconsin dairy farm. It is in remarkable original condition and still retains most of it’s original paint, lettering, and stenciling. It is in excellent mechanical condition and not all worn out like so many of them. It has one small chip on the cob outlet that I’ve pointed out. It has the original hand crank and it’s in good shape. This sheller would be a great addition to your show display or John Deere collection! I can’t remember ever seeing another sheller like this exactly like this (although there’s probably a couple out there but I doubt they’re this nice). I can deliver for free to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, Coolspring, PA, next year. I can deliver it for free to Coolspring, PA, in October.
