Here is an original Elkhart magneto bracket for a 7hp Hercules or Economy Engine. It seems to be in great shape and ready to use. It may also fit other sizes of engines. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. I’m sure it will fit a 7hp engine, it may also fit other sizes. The 2 holes to mount it on the engine are 2-1/2 on center. The centerline of those mounting holes are about 3-13/16 from the shelf the mag mounts on. The mage mounting holes are slotted for adjustment, the mag it takes would have a 2″ x 2″ bolt pattern. No Cracks, Breaks, or Welds. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. This is a very nice and very hard to find original Elkhart 4-bar magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It should fit several engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the original leadout tower and leadoutcover including the lever nut as can be seen. It mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern and the threads in all of the holes are in great shape. It turns over very nicely with very little noticeable wear in the bearings. This magneto has had the magnets recharged. It has a nice hot spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. It will likely be quite a while until another Elkhart magneto come along for sale and it probably won’t be this nice! Hard to find loose Large Elkhart with four double magnets for I think but not sure a Falk gas engine Jacobson and possibly Sparta economy and Im sure others. Very rare in this size. Antique stationary gas engine magneto. Condition is Used but has not been tested and has three good mounting holes but one is striped but very solid and can be fixed easily and case looks very good except small chip at bottom of oil hole that will not effect the operation of the magneto. Mag is missing lead out and is low tension. Mag is loose and appears fairly complete and I dont see any major breaks. Please see pictures for more information and condition.
