Fairbanks Morse Type “R” High Tension Magneto. W/ Gear for a Fairbanks Z Hit Miss Engine. I recharged the magnets to make sure it was at full strength. Bench tested and guaranteed to be a HOT mag. 3 7/8 apart-on-center mounting. Gear diameter 2 5/8. Gear has 25 teeth that are 1/2 wide. Double-check to see if this gear will fit your Fairbanks Z engine. In my opinion, the mag is in good condition and ready to use. I apologize for any inconvenience. If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I just haven’t gotten around to it yet, so just check with me. This is an original cam gear and cam shaft for an early 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It is for the earlier style engines that used a Sumter Plugoscillator magneto for ignition so do your homework to be sure it is for your application. It may also work on the rotary magneto engines but I think the cam lobe may be different. It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of except that an addition was made to the side of the cam to convert the engine to spark plug ignition. This protrusion could easily be removed. There is some were in the high spot on one edge of the cam that could also be remedied quite easily. The gear measures about 7 3/16 inches in diameter with a 5/8 inch face. It is abou 3 inches long through the 3/4 inch bore. It has 70 teeth and they are in great shape. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here is a decent one. The pictures tell the story. Nice throttle governed Fairbanks head with no breaks or repairs!! Valves are loose and look good, springs are good as well! The exhaust and the water drain plugs will definitely need a tap ran through them to make assembly a breeze. I’ve had a pipe in the exhaust no problem but you will for sure need to clean up the threads for the drain plug. Please see pictures for the absolute best description and keep in mind this part is 100 years old, it’s not new like it once was years ago!! Carburetor mount center to center bolt spacing is 2 1/4. This is an original cast iron governor assemly for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. I believe it is also correct for the 6hp Z engines. It bolts to the side of the engine with two holes 2 1/4 inches apart on center and is for the earlier style engines so do your homework to be sure it is for your application. It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. Everything seems to move as it should and it seems to have very little noticeable wear. It includes the throttle linkage for a 3hp engine. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here is a very nice one. Here is a fuel mixer for a Fairbanks Morse T and or Jack of All Traded Vertical engine. It’s in pretty good shape and should be ready to use. The pipe is also the stand pipe of the overflow on the fuel. If you wanted a shorter one that would be easy to do. Its just a standard pipe threaded further than usual to go into the mixer. This came off of a 2hp engine I parted out but I think it will fit some larger sizes also. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. For a FM T vertical engine. No cracks, breaks, or welds that I can see or know of. The mounting holes are about 2-5/8 apart on center. For questions 419 789 1159. Thanks for looking at this listing!
