Description: Brand new fuel tank for the 1.5 hp International M gas engine. This is a hi quality fuel tank made in the USA. It measures approximately 12.75 inches long, 4.25 inches tall and 4 1/8 inches wide, not counting the mounting tabs. These tanks are ready to use and will certainly last a long time. We do recommend our Red Kote fuel/gas tank liner for coating the insides of the tanks prior to use. It is not required but with todays modern fuels it provides an extra level of protect for your engine and your investment. Need another fuel tank you don’t see listed? See the sellers listing for full details. This engine may require some servicing or repair (fuel system cleaning, greasing, bearings, gaskets, things of this nature) before fully using it. This is why I list in this condition. Seems to be a Good running engine, BUT WILL NEED A WICO MAGNETO, MAGNETO IN VIDEO IS NOT INCLUDED. Engine starts with the flick of the flywheels. Engine has good compression, and spins over smooth. Have not used the fuel tank in the base, it may or may not need to b. Throttle rod is a weird shape.. I sprayed it down with WD-40 to clean off dust, cobwebs and to be able to look them over. Please watch video below of the engine being started cold. THE MAGNETO IN THE VIDEO IS NOT INCLUDED! This is why I list in this condition. Good running engine, has a hot, original magneto. Engine starts with the flick of the flywheels These engines are known to be stubborn starting, not this one. Engine has Good compression, and spins very smoothly – the flywheels will bounce back and forth after it stops from the compression. Original IHC Magneto in very nice condition – Hot. Original Factory Pulley with v-belt pulley. Fuel tank holds gas and seems to be working fine. I sprayed it down with WD-40 to clean off dust, cobwebs and to be able to look them over. It won’t be all wet & shiny when it arrives. I Think the check valve in the fuel chamber may need to be cleaned, the throttle was surging once in a while, either that or a leak in the fuel line or somewhere – MAY NEED FUEL LINE / CARBURETOR REPAIR. Here is a nice original Fairbanks morse 1 1/2 hp Throttle governed engine. It is loose and fairly complete. It needs a mag but can run this way with a buzz coil and timer. The needle valves are loose as are the valves. The fuel tank has been modified and will probably need replacing. The pulley is not original and has a chip out of it. The rocker arm has an old repair on it too. That is the only weld on the engine. Please ask any questions if you have any. Or I can deliver it to le Sueure swap meet in April for free.
