Here is an original head for a 2hp Fairbanks Morse H engine. It has been repaired but really looks nice. With just a little effort the repairs could be blended in perfectly. This is an original cylinder head with valves for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It mounts with four holes on a 4 1/4 square pattern and is correct for the spark plug fired 3hp engines. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the original valves, springs, and keepers as can be seen. The valves move as they should and other than some minor cleaning this head should be ready to be used on an engine. The pictures tell the story. These original unbroken, unrepaired cylinder heads are quite tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. Here is a nice original head for an Associated Chore Boy or United equivalent engine. Please check the measurements to make sure it is what you need. The valve heads and seats look great. The valves also feel good in their guides. Very hard part to find. Its for a 3hp to 3-1/2hp size engine. CHW (I think, its hard to read). The mounting hole pattern is 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ measured from closest hole to next closest hole on center. The carb mounts with 2 holes about 2-3/4 apart on center. About 7-1/2 in overall diameter. The raised area in the center is a little under 4-1/2 in diameter. Has been repaired but looks good, see pics. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for.
