For your consideration is an original HEAD with VALVES for a spark plug 1-1/2hp International Harvester, IHC, McCormick Deering Hit Miss, Old stationary type Gas Engine. It has a 1-1/4NPT exhaust port which has good threads. The spark plug threads appear to be in good shape. The valves appear to be fairly new, if not were new when put in the head, as there was sharpie marker writing on them and they’re shiny new (I did not install them or have them installed, it came to me this way). The intake guide has minimal play in it but it should be fine to use. There’s a chip out of the top of the exhaust valve guide, but that shouldn’t affect it. The throttle butterfly moves and is spring loaded. The mounting bolts are about 4 apart on centers. It’s about a 3-5/8 diameter center circle. It has some red and grey primer on it. Please read the following full description so you understand the terms of the sale, this will save both of us time by not messaging me questions that are already answered. Please review the pictures and full description as what I’m showing in the pictures is the actual item you will be receiving, and the pictures are part of the description. The can koozie is used for a size reference, it’s not included as part of the sale. I do NOT allow offers on my listings. Thank You for viewing, John Tonjes Jr.

This cylinder head and carburetor setup is from a early 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 LA gas engine. Has good 3/4 exhaust threads. Good spark plug threads. Good fuel line threads as well. Valves may need a quick lap job before installing for heat results. Has great original patina overall with no breaks or repairs that I can see. 2 7/8″ x 3 1/8″ 4 bolt hole spacing. I think this would be a excellent addition to your engine! See pictures for the absolute best description.

This is an original cylinder head with valves for a Stover CT Series hit and miss gas engine. It is part number 6CT1 and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has some filler added to the back face which looks to have been done at the factory and affects nothing. It mounts on a 3 1/8 square hole pattern and is from a 1 1/2 or 2hp engine. All of the threads are in great shape. The valves move as they should with minimal wear and may need a bit of cleaning as this head has been sitting for a while. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. I can be reached at 262 573 193 1 if you’d like to talk about it.
