Original 2hp Fairbanks Morse Dishpan Z. This is a throttle governed engine. It still has some decent original paint on it. It has the original flat belt pulley on it. The valves move as they should and it turns over nicely with some wear in the bearings but there should be shims to be taken out yet. The cast iron governor bracket is off of it because the small gear is stuck. I’m sure with a little heat it would free up. The engine has the original mixer on it. It has an old braze repair on the head as can be seen. There are no other cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It should be a pretty straightforward restoration. I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, in 2019. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. I HC McCormick Deering 1-1/2 HP Ignitor Fired Engine – RARE BIG TAG – 3 Needle Kerosene / gas engine. MAKE ME A CHRISTMAS OFFER, I JUST MIGHT TAKE IT! This is ignitor fired – pre-spark plug. Rare BIG tag model – not often seen and not in this condition, It also has the better 3 Needle carburetor which runs kerosene or gas with water injection. The carburetor also has 2 original needle valve knobs, one has a chip missing, these are usually broken and replaced. It also has the original BRASS fuel lines running from the carburetor to the fuel pump. Includes Starting crank handle. This is a good running engine, I ran it off battery & coil. It has a nice cover on the magneto bracket. Plate can be removed and the Original magneto can be installed. PLEASE NOTE – Most items are used and/or are very old. They are not going to be in perfect shape. We are happy to answer any questions to the best of our abilities. Flywheels are 10″ in diameter, 1 9/16″ bore by 3 3/8 stroke. With lubricators, machine drawings and a scale igniter coil (no pix). Engine turns over nicely and good compression. This is a very hard to find original ignitor for a Fuller Johnson hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts with two 7/16 inch holes 2 3/4 inches apart on center. This ignitor should fit all sizes of Fuller Johnson engines from 1 1/2 to 15hp but please measure your engine or consult your parts book to be be sure. Everything moves and functions as it should. There is no noticeable wear on the movable shaft and trip finger. The points are a bit small and could easily be replaced but work as they should. I believe it’s ready to be used on an engine or put on the shelf for a spare. If you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. This is a very nice old Webster Model M low tension magneto for an old engine. It was factory equipment on many smaller hit and miss and throttle governed engines back in the day. The bearings have very little wear and it moves very smoothly with good magnetic pull. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of other than a chip on the rear oil hole which won’t affect anything. All of the mounting holes are in great shape with the studs in them. It puts out a good, hot, blue spark that will surely run an engine if it is set up properly with the addition a couple springs and rollers which are available from several suppliers rather inexpensively. It mounts on a 1 1/2 x 2 pattern. It has the original name band on it. The trip finger is in good shape. These old Webster M magnetos are getting tougher to find every day so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. 2 1/4hp Galloway Boss of the Farm hit and miss engine. Valves have been done but need to be lapped in. Engine looks to have a new sleeve in it. Rings will need to be seated. Missing rocker arm and push rod. Cam shaft needs holder for detent. Repair on the detent but could easily be ground down. Old repair on the bottom of the water jacket which is hard to see. Has a v-groove in the pulley side flywheel like a couple others I’ve seen. The pitting in the groove matches the rest of the engine so it’s been there a long time… Likely from the factory. Would be a great winter project! I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) to Coolspring, PA, later this month or LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, or Portland, IN, next year.
