This is a very nice original Webster K 2-bar magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It should fit many engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It seems to be in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than a chipped oil hole on the rear bearing cover which really won’t affect anything. It mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern and the threads in all of the holes are in great shape. The shaft moves as it should with very little noticeable wear and the trip finger is in excellent shape as can be seen. It has the original name band on it and retains some of the original gold paint on the body as can be seen. I recharged the magnets and this magneto has a nice hot spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. This is an extremely hard to find original ignitor for a Fairbanks Morse T hit and miss gas engine. It may also be for a Fairbanks Morse H but please be sure to do your homework or consult your parts book to be sure. It is in great condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It has a cast iron body and mounts with two 7/16 inch holes 2 7/8 inches apart on center. This ignitor should fit all sizes of the vertical T engines but again, please measure your engine or consult your parts book to be be sure. Everything moves and functions as it should. There is very little noticeable wear on the movable shaft and trip finger. It has very good points on it and also has the original brass ground screw and thumb screw. It should be ready to be used on an engine or put on the shelf for a spare! These original early Fairbanks ignitors are extremely tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up! This is an original cylinder head for a Sparta Economy hit and miss gas engine. I believe it is for a 4hp engine but please do your homework to be sure it will work for you. It mounts with 5 holes on an irregular bolt pattern. Most are 3 1/2 inches apart on center. The valves are stuck and the rocker arm has a very old repair. The head itself appears to be in good shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. With a little TLC this could be a very usable piece and it would certainly be easier than making one! This is a rather hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a Galloway hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It should fit all sizes of Galloway engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is bracket number 303K16 and seems to be in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It mounts with two holes 2 3/8 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern. It moves a bit stiff and after a disassembly and light cleaning of the shaft it should make a great usable ignitor. If you need a Galloway ignitor bracket for any reason here is a pretty nice one. Here is a very stout and impressive 9hp Ideal vertical tank cooled hit and miss engine. This may be the largest ignitor fired Ideal still alive from the limited research I’ve done. It is in great shape and was restored many years ago and shown locally. Everything turns and interacts as it should and it has good compression. It has an extremely well done homemade fuel pump on it. The ignitor and trip linkage has some repairs on them but there are no other cracks, breaks, or repairs on it that I can see or know of. It is unique in that it pulls down to trip the ignitor. It has 3 3/8 x 30 flywheels on it and is very impressive when standing near it. It has a belt drive water pump which (I’m not sure) looks to be original and a very nicely done stainless steel screen cooler. The original name tag is missing but you can clearly see where it was. Currently it has a homemade stamped brass tag with the information on it. It is on a homemade drop cart that isn’t the fanciest but surely makes moving it easier! I haven’t tried to run it but I doubt it would take very much to make noise. Good older restoration 1 1/2hp John Deere E (26XXXX) hit and miss engine. It was restored many years ago and has held up pretty well. Everything seems to be in great shape and turns and interacts as it should. It has decent compression and shouldn’t take much to make noise although I haven’t tried it. The gas tank has many solder type repairs on it and there is an extra stud screwed into the side of the water jacket for a push rod return spring but this could easily be disguised. It works just fine as it is and could surely be left along. The magneto looks to be in good shape and the engine has the correct muffler and pulley on it. There is some main bearing thrust that could be taken up but it would run the way it is. All in all a pretty honest old John Deere engine. Wisconsin dairy barn fresh 1 1/4hp Monitor VJ Farm Pump Engine with original pump jack. It’s just the way we like to find them with nice original paint and lots more to be found under the years of oil. Engine is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than the starting handle which has been replaced with a bolt. It has the original pulley as can be seen. The pumpjack has some wear but is in good shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs except an old braze repair on the original Baker/Monitor pump clamp. The engine has some compression but would benefit from a good valve cleaning as I can hear it leaking past them. It would be a nice original engine addition to your collection.
