This is a rather hard to find original ignitor for a 1 1/2-12hp Fuller Johnson hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It seems to have new points and springs and is in perfect shape, nice and tight and smooth operating. I did connect a battery and coil to it and tested it. It produces a nice HOT blue spark! It is part number 2N88A and mounts with two holes 2 3/4 inches apart on center. It is ready to go to work in an engine. If you are in need of here’s your chance, don’t miss it. HOT SUMTER 16 Low Tension Magneto with gear. I believe this gear will fit a Fuller & Johnson Hit Miss engine. Please be sure to review the photos and see the measurements in the description to be sure this mag is right for your engine. Bench tested – HOT with test light and I recharged the magnets. Brass cover plates and replacement base plate. Band is good and is stamped Sumter Electrical Chicago, IL 3-M No. As the base has been replaced – base measures. 2 3/4″ X 2 9/16″. 2 mounting holes that are 2 apart on center – threads appear to be in great shape. Gear has 2 5/8″ diameter and 25 teeth that are 1/2″ wide and spaced 3/16 apart. Please feel free to call me with questions. If you don’t see a part you need listed, good chance I just haven’t gotten around to it yet, so just check with me. Like I said, I have been doing this a long time and try to list everything accurately and to provide a detailed explanation of the item, both good and the bad. Please research and measure up your engine before purchasing! No breaks or repairs that I can see. Gear has some wear. Governor weights are not stuck. The bolt hole spacing measures 2 1/4 on centers between the 2 holes. Please see pictures for the absolute best description. This item is old, used.

Nice Air-cooled cylinder from a upright Fuller & Johnson pump engine. No breaks, cracks, or repairs that I can see. The head mounting studs are spaced 3 1/4 apart from each other on centers. The 4 holes that hole the cylinder to the block are spaced 3 7/8 apart from each other. Nice Oiler and exhaust threads. The cylinder should shine up nicely with a light hone job. Has some very light pitting towards the upper part of the cylinder on one side. The cylinder walls in one area does have some wrist pin “scratches” I have seen far worst Grooves then what this cylinder has. A finger nail barely catches/snags when scraping against the “scratched” area. Please see all pictures for the absolute best description. This item is old and used, it’s not new. I believe with some minor work this cylinder would work just fine.

This is a rather hard to find original ignitor for a 1 1/2-12hp Fuller Johnson hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It has been rebuilt by a meticulous rebuilder and has a NOS, new old stock movable shaft and trip finder. It has new points and springs and is in perfect shape. It is part number 2N88A and mounts with two holes 2 3/4 inches apart on center. This ignitor should fit the 1 1/2 through 12hp engines but please measure your engine or consult your parts book to be sure. Everything moves and functions as it should. It is ready to go to work in an engine. If you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up! Let the pictures be your guide. Nice original head for a Aircooled fuller & Johnson vertical pumping engine. No breaks or repairs. Part numbers j3B and J62. Valves are loose, valves need cleaned up and a quick lapping would be very recommended. The mounting holes are spaced 3 1/4 apart from each other on center. Good 3/4 threads for the carb and exhaust. I HAVE FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION AN ORIGINAL FULLER AND JOHNSON PUMP ENGINE CAST IRON MUFFLER. THESE SEEM TO BE HARDER TO FIND, AS THEY ARE ALWAYS MISSING. THIS IS FACTORY ORIGINAL WITH THE J118 CASTING NUMBER AND BEING FACTORY RIVITED.
