Here is a very nice magneto for a John Deere E hit and miss gas engine. It makes an excellent spark. It has perfectly tight bearings. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 3/8 shaft for gear mounting. One mounting hole has excellent threads and other is missing a few. A bolt will still tighten up in it just fine. It would be very easy to do a Helicoil repair to it if you wanted to. For questions 419 789 1159. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a nice magneto. VERY hard to find original brass body Accurate Engineering Company Model U magneto as used on some International Harvester Company Mogul sideshaft engines. It’s in great original shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs other than a couple blemishes in the original name band. It has been bushed at some point in the past and oscillates very smoothly with excellent magnetic pull and puts out a very hot spark that will surely run your engine if set up properly. It looks to have minimal wear on the trip finger. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the threads are in great shape. It has great original patina and would look good on a nice original engine! It’s ready to go to work on an engine or would be a great spare on the shelf for the next time you need one as they just don’t come along very often! It would also be a very nice upgrade for a diecast body Model U magneto. These Accurate U brass magnetos are quite tough to find especially in this condition so don’t miss your chance if you need one for any reason. Let the pictures be your guide. You’ll like it. This is an original early style fuel mixer or carburetor for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It mounts to the side of the head where the throttle shaft is in the head on the earlier style engines with two holes 1 5/8 inches apart on center so do your homework to be sure it is for your application. It is in sound condition with no cracks, breats, or repairs in the body. The fuel needle moves as it should and looks good. The fuel pump plunger is stuck. The drain/fuel selector pin is deteriorated and needs to be replaced. The threads for one fuel line have a broken off nipple that needs to be removed and the other one is very nice. With a little effort this would be a nice, usable mixer. If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration because yours is missing, broken, or repaired here is a decent one. This sale is for a IHC type L low tension magneto to fit igniter fired model M gas engines. It is complete and turns over freely and does work, but does have a couple of condition issues. The rear bearing plate has the oiler hole broke out, but the bushing is worn and would have to be replaced anyway and the mounting threads on the bottom will need to have helicoils put into them and it does have a small piece broke out of 1 corner in the front by the magnets but this does not affect its ability to work. If you want to repair this it is a pretty good start especially for the price. Please see pictures and ask questions if you have them. We describe our items as accurately as possible. Here is an original Elkhart magneto bracket for a 7hp Hercules or Economy Engine. It seems to be in great shape and ready to use. It may also fit other sizes of engines. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. I’m sure it will fit a 7hp engine, it may also fit other sizes. The 2 holes to mount it on the engine are 2-1/2 on center. The centerline of those mounting holes are about 3-13/16 from the shelf the mag mounts on. The mage mounting holes are slotted for adjustment, the mag it takes would have a 2″ x 2″ bolt pattern. No Cracks, Breaks, or Welds. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for.
