This is a very nice and very hard to find original Elkhart 4-bar magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It should fit several engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is in great shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has the original leadout tower and leadoutcover including the lever nut as can be seen. It mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern and the threads in all of the holes are in great shape. It turns over very nicely with very little noticeable wear in the bearings. This magneto has had the magnets recharged. It has a nice hot spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. It will likely be quite a while until another Elkhart magneto come along for sale and it probably won’t be this nice! Here is a very nice Wizard Model 2S low tension magneto. This mag appears to be in great shape. It produces a very nice hot spark. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. The gear is about 2-5/8 in diameter and has 30 teeth. 2 mounting pattern on the bottom. The mounting holes have perfect threads. No wear can be felt. I think this mag is ready to start and run your engine. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. For your consideration is what I believe to be a 303K26 Webster Magneto/Igniter Bracket casting for a Hit Miss Engines. It fits a Hercules 3, 5, 7, 9 & 12hp according to Wendell’s notebook. The mounting bolt holes appear to be about 2-1/4 on center. The mag bolt pattern is 2″x2″. There are no other parts with it. It’s in original patina. I personally hooked it up on my bench and would be glad to send a video of it working if possible through messaging.. Clutch and leather shows lots of years and wear and will need attention and work if you’re planning on using it. Base is riveted to the body of the mag and is slightly “loose fitting”. Please see pictures for the absolute best description. This magneto is to be used with a coil, it simply replaces the “battery power” once the engine has been started and running up to speed! This is a very hard to find original Remy Dual Ignition battery/magneto coil switch for an early car, truck, tractor, or other engine. It is fresh from an old service garage estate where it lived in retirement for decades. The switch lever moves as it should as does the knob and key. The barrel is clearly marked for Battery, Magneto, and Off on the face. All in all it retains a lot of original patina and would look great on an original survivor vehicle. This is a very hard to find original brass fuel mixer for a Detroit 2-cycle or other two cycle hit and miss type gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It has a small amount of solder on it but I think that’s from the factory. The fuel needle moves as it should. It mounts with 1/4 npt male threads and they are in great shape. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It sounds to have a float in the chamber which may or may not be usable as it is. After checking the usability of the float this mixer is ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. This is an extremely hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a 1 1/2hp Vertical Goold Shapley Muir hit and miss gas engine. It will fit the 1 1/2hp engine and possibly others but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is bracket number 303M34 and seems to be in excellent shape with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of and even has the original priming cup on it. It mounts with two holes 2 1/4 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 1 1/2 x 2 inch hole pattern. The movable electrode moves nicely with very little wear and the pics show the condition of the points. The advance/retard lever and roller move just as they should with noticeable wear on the roller but this is easy enough to replace. If you need a 1 1/2hp GSM ignitor bracket for any reason here is a very nice one. The pictures tell the story. It would also make a great spare on the shelf.
