This is a very hard to find small Kingston brass 5 ball carburetor for an early motorcycle, stationary or marine engine, or tractor. It is in as found condition from an old farm estate. It has 1 inch npt pipe threads with a 3/4 inch bushing in it. The throttle shaft has some slight wear. The fuel needle moves as it should. It is missing the lower bowl and some other parts but the casting and hard parts are there! I think with some patience or a few contacts the missing pieces should be findable. There are some wrench marks on the mounting collar that could be massaged out or at least reduced a bit with a little effort. The original name tag is on it and appears to be upside down from the factory. These original brass Kingston 5 ball carburetors are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a pretty nice one. 1922 rare first year Palmer YT 4 cycle overhead valve engine. The engine Turns over smooth. It has a monarch carburetor. The water jacket on the cylinder will need to be welded/repaired. The Oiler glass is broken. The 2 crank case flanges closest to the flywheel that bolt the engine down have the corners broken off. One bolt to the brass oil fill will need to be retapped. This is a VERY hard to find original Schebler 1 3/8 carburetor for an old marine engine, hit and miss type engine, or other application. It is mostly brass and is fresh from an old collectors estate and seems to be in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. Everything moves as it should. The throttle shaft has very little noticeable wear. It mounts with two holes 2 1/16 inches apart on center. The intake hole is 1 1/4 inch in diameter and the hole where it mounts is 1 3/8 inches in diameter. It sounds like the original cork float is inside. These original Schebler carburetors are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a really nice one.
