Gould’s Triplex water pump. 19-’teens’/early 20′s era. Brass cylinders, brass Lukenheimer grease cups, (1 is disconnected) pump is stuck from years of sitting and not being used. Nice older restoration 1 1/2hp Fairbanks Morse Headless Z. Has good compression and was shown by a previous owner just a couple years ago. Magneto has good spark engine has the original crank guard which is usually missing! Good compression and shouldn’t take much to make noise! Very old repair on the cam gear which has run like this for many years. Ignitor is nice and tight and not worn out. It has the correct muffler. I can deliver for free to Coolspring, PA, later this year. It can stay here as long as needed as long as it’s paid for. I can be reached at 262 573 1931 if you’d like to talk about it. This does turn over freely with some compression, but has not been tested and is offered as-is. No broken fins, only damage I notice is to one spark plug. Up for sale is a very nice restored Maytag Model 31, Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial # 558848 stamped on it so it was in production May, 1934. Painted with original Maytag green automotive paint. The skids you see under my motors go with the engine. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years. I also restore Maytag wringer washers and put Maytag motor’s on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and SAND blasted BEAD blasted cleaned and painted the original Maytag green paint. I take a lot of pride in these motors as you can see and I like to do a little extra detailing such as the lettering and the numbers as you can see in the pictures. I think it makes the motor’s stand out better. Lot of guys likes to copy my work so I have a trade mark that I can only tell that it is one that I had done. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley and air filter. It has new rings, condenser and spark plug and plug wire with new ends. I also honed out the Cylinder jug and carburetor is completely rebuilt with all new parts. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the fuel tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people I just polish them up nice. After putting it all back together I ran two tanks of fuel through it and it runs just fine. I like to run my engines that much so I know it will run great and help seat the rings a little for you. Then I put on a set of real nice WATER TRANSFER DECAL that I had made and sell. NOT those NASTY sticky fly by night cheap decals. The coil is good and has hot nice spark. I have a lot of people will send me a motor to restore for them as well. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. I use foam spray to pack the motor and it takes a lot. Please read below pictures. This washer is not part of this sale. I will start packing the engine and it takes about 5 days to pack it so the foam spray can dry. Thank you for looking. What we have here very nice twin maytag that runs good this is an original motor witg some original paint left on it this is an early model 72 made between December of 37 or January of 38 from what I found only thing I have done is changed plug wires and cleaned flywheel starts good these are hard to find in there original work cloths any questions please ask.
