This is a very nice original and VERY hard to find brass check valve for a steam pump of some kind. I don’t know exactly what engine it is for and may fit several so if you know please educate me. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know or. It is complete with the dome, tail nuts, and all of the internals are inside. It is marked on a flat “Buckeye Brass Works”. It has 3/4″ npt male threads in both places and has “4031 in raised numbers on the body. The body measures about 12 inches tall. This is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original brass check valves are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one. The pictures tell the story. Here is a Splitdorf Model SS 1 Cylinder magneto. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. 1 Cylinder Flipper Style. Very hot spark that can be seen and heard. No wear can be felt. 2″ x 2″ Mounting pattern, the holes have great threads. The flipper extends 3/4 down past the base. Weighs 14-1/2 lbs before any packing material or box. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. I have not had most of these mags apart and may not know what the inside looks like. If you want advice on how to use it please give me a call and I’ll be glad to help. This is a very hard to find original 3/4 Gardner steam engine governor. It could also work for a gas engine. It is in excellent, used condition just as found from an old collector’s estate. Everything moves as it should and it has very little wear on the the gears. It has some very mild wear on the shaft and should work fine just the way it is. All of the internals are in the steam chest. It stands about 17 inches tall and mounts with 3/4 npt threads that are in great shape as can be seen. It has the original drive pulley on it. The manual speed change lever works as it should. The screw type speed changer on the other side (I think it’s called the ball ranger) has been broken and missing but the nipple still retains the ball and moves freely. I’m sure this would be a fairly easy piece to find from a parts governor or easily made. These original governors are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a project don’t miss your chance on this one. Here is a nice original head that I think is for a Lauson engine. Please check the measurements to make sure it is what you need. The valve heads and seats look good but I would probably lap them before I put it on an engine.. The valves also feel good in their guides. For questions 419 789 1159. No cracks, breaks, or welds. The mounting hole pattern is 4-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ measured from closest hole to next closest hole on center. The carb mounts with 2 holes about 2-1/4 apart on center. About 6-7/8 in overall diameter. 15-1/2 lbs actual weight before box and packing materials. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. This is a very hard to find original cast iron starting crank for an International Harvester Tom Thumb or 1hp Famous or Titan hit and miss type gas engine. It fits on a 1 1/8 inch crankshaft and will work to start many engines. The starting lug is in great shape. As with several of these original cranks they either don’t have a part number on them or it is disguised under the paint. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It even has some original black paint on it yet. This crank should be ready to go to work starting an engine! These cranks are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one to complete a restoration here it is. It would surely make starting your engine easier!
