This is a very nice original and VERY hard to find Garfield #1 inspirator or steam injector. It’s not all pounded up like a lot of the injectors that you see. It needs a couple tail nuts but these should be easy enough to make. The valves seem to move as they should. I believe this a 3/8 inch inspirator as the plumbing is all 3/8. The body measures about 6 1/4 x 7 1/4 inches. It is marked with the makers name on the barrel. All in all this is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. These original small Garfield Inspirators are almost impossible to find in. The wild or even at swap meets so don’t miss your chance one this one. The pictures tell the story. You won’t be disappointed in any way. This is an original cast iron piston and rod for a John Lauson or Alpha DeLaval Model W 2 1/2hp hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The rod is part number WA25. The assembly is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The wrist pin seems to have some mild wear. The connecting rod bearing looks to be in excellent condition. The piston is 4 inches in diameter. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It will need a wrist pin set screw to be complete. These original Lauson parts are exceedingly tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! This is a rather hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket body for an Associated or United hit and miss gas engine. It should fit all the sizes of engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is bracket number 303K55 and seems to be unused New Old Stock with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center and the magneto mounts on a 2 x 2 inch square hole pattern so it would take a Model K or L Webster magneto. There is no wear on the movable shaft that I can feel. The point on the movable electrode is in perfect condition. It needs a stationary electrode, advance/retard lever and roller and return spring to be complete. I acquired it with a couple other NOS Webster brackets from an old collection. If you need an Associated ignitor bracket for any reason here is a very nice one that just needs some small available items to be functional. This bracket should be interchangeable with the 303K62 brackets for the Ottawa engines but this K55 is the authentic number used on Associated engines. The pictures tell the story. This is a very large and impressive 2 1/2 Gardner steam engine governor. It could also work for a large gas engine. It is in excellent, used condition just as found from an old collector’s estate. Everything moves as it should and it has very little wear on the the gears or on the shaft. All of the internals are in the steam chest. It stands about 28 inches tall and mounts with a flange on the bottom as can be seen. These large governors are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a project don’t miss your chance on this one. It would also be a great conversation piece on the shelf! I can deliver this for free (or a cold beverage) to LeSueur, MN, Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year.
