Here is a nice brass body Webster K magneto. It is very hot and in great shape. The bearings are very tight, with no amount of wear. I strongly assume it has been rebuilt. I believe the frame and bearing plates are probably new. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. If you have any questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. It does have to be timed to the engine. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern. All the studs are in great shape and are tight in their holes. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. Very hard to find Sumter No. 14 rotary magneto as used on the headless Fairbanks Morse Z engines and a few others. Magneto is in excellent rebuilt condition and has no wear in the bearings as it has been bushed. It has very little wear on the gear as can be seen. The gear is part number DJ142 and is for the headless Z engine. This magneto would also work on the 3hp Z with ignitor ignition and rotary magneto behind the hopper but the gear would have to be changed. I believe it will also work for the Plugoscillator engines but the base of the magneto would need to be changed. It has very hot spark as I’ve checked it. It mounts with two holes 3 7/8 inches apart on center. The output block has been replaced as can be seen and a very nice job was done on it. It is ready to go to work on an engine or put on your shelf a spare. These Sumter 14 magnetos are quite tough to find especially in this condition so don’t miss your chance if you need one for any reason. Let the pictures be your guide. You’ll like it. Here is an igniter for a Associated or United hit and miss engine. It seems to have been rebuilt. No wear can be felt. The tub that runs through the body for the moveable electrode has been welded to the body, maybe is has been replaced? The points arm has been welded to the new shaft which is a really common way to rebuilt igniters. I think it is ready to run your engine. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Here is a Webster JY magneto. The mag appears to be and great shape and rebuilt. This mag is often used on IHC and other larger engines. They are very hard to find and are especially hard to find in this condition. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Model JY, Serial No. It appears to have had new bushings installed, no wear can be felt. The mounting pattern is about 2-13/16″ x 2-15/32″. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back.
