I recently found these parts on my uncle’s Kentucky farm in a trunk. Antique “The Schebler” DX-268 Brass Carburetor. Also as a bonus you get what appears to be some kind of pump rod assembly that was found with the carburetor. The envelope was also in the trunk but is not included. This is a VERY hard to find original Schebler 1 3/8 carburetor for an old marine engine, hit and miss type engine, or other application. It is mostly brass and is fresh from an old collectors estate and seems to be in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. Everything moves as it should. The throttle shaft has very little noticeable wear. It mounts with two holes 2 1/16 inches apart on center. The intake hole is 1 1/4 inch in diameter and the hole where it mounts is 1 3/8 inches in diameter. It sounds like the original cork float is inside. These original Schebler carburetors are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a really nice one. Here is a large old Schebler carb. There is a slight dent on the intake but I don’t think that will hurt it much. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. Thanks for looking at this listing! This is a VERY hard to find original Schebler DX319 brass carburetor for a 12-24 Hart Parr tractor. It is mostly brass and is fresh from an old collectors estate and seems to be in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. Everything moves as it should. I can hear a float inside as I shake it. It mounts with two holes 3 3/16 inches apart on center. The intake hole is 1 7/8 inches in diameter and the hole where it mounts is 1 11/16 inches in diameter. It may have other applications but I know for sure that the DX319 was used originally on the 12-24 Hart Parr tractors. These original Schebler carburetors are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a really nice one. This is a VERY hard to find original Schebler brass carburetor for and early car, truck, tractor, marine engine or other application. It is in as found condition from an old farm shop and seems to be in remarkable condition for its age. It has a 1 1/2 inch intake and a 1 5/8 opening in the flange. It mounts with two holes 2 15/16 inches apart on center. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. The throttle shaft has some wear and would be easy to rebush if you so choose. The needle valve moves as it should and everything seems to be in great shape. This carb measures about 9 inches tall overall. It surely would look great all polished up! These large Schebler carburetors are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one.
