Here is a Webster M magneto. This mag has the desirable all brass body. It makes an excellent spark. The bearings have no wear that can be felt. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. Model M, Serial No. The mounting pattern is about 1-1/2″ x 2″. Tight bearings, the armature spins freely with the springs off. Strong magnetic pull can be felt when turning the armature. This is a low tension magneto meant to work with an igniter. It will not produce a spark that will jump an air gap no matter who tells you it will or how close you hold the wire to ground.. It makes a spark that can be seen when the igniter points open. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. This is a rather hard to find original crankcase cover/serial tag for a 3hp International Harvester vertical Famous or Titan gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It is part number GA1577 and mounts on a 4 x 4 1/2 inch hole pattern. It has some nice original paint and all of the writing is very readable. It would look great on a nice original engine. If you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one. Here is a very nice Wizard Type 61 Model 2 low tension magneto. This mag appears to be in great shape. It produces a very nice hot spark. Please take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. SPECIAL NOTE: This is a low tension magneto, it is meant to work with an igniter and will not produce at spark that will jump an air gap. It will not work with a spark plug. The spark it produces can be observed by rubbing a wire from the terminal against the case of the mag while turning the shaft. 2 mounting pattern on the bottom. The mounting holes have perfect threads. No wear can be felt. I think this mag is ready to start and run your engine. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. In my opinion this is a great magneto. If you have any questions about how to use it on your engine please ask. Don’t be a clown and tear it all apart and then try to return it when you can’t get it to work. Thanks for looking at this listing! HOT Webster Type L 25 Low Tension Magneto. Webster Type “L” low tension magneto. Flip type mag with 3 bars. Bench tested – HOT with 12v test light. Magnets charged and new springs. 4 bolt mounting 2 1/16″ x 2 1/16″. The mounting studs look good. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please feel free to call me with questions.
