Maytag engine – Model 82 Washing Machine Engine. I ran it once when I brought it home, and it seemed to run good. I just don’t have time for it. I believe it was “re-done” before I got it. I couldn’t get it started this year, it may need some repairs. It has decent compression and might not need much, but im not sure, it could need some work. Seems like the carb needs work? 1-1/2 HP Stover Model KE Hit & Miss Engine. Good compression, hasn’t run in a number of years, but its a good runner. Something fell on the magneto years ago and broke the mag off, but I have a replacement bracket for you see pictures – you will need a magneto. Looks to be original fuel tank, which is somewhat rare on these engines. I also have a splash guard I will include with the engine, may have a starting crank handle as well. John Deere 3 HP Engine Block. There are no breaks or welds or repairs on the block anywhere, would be a good replacement block for an engine that has a crack or a repair that you dont like. The cylinder doesn’t look too bad, (the picture doesn’t make it look very good) its in pretty good shape, it has some minor surface rust, but I think a good hone and this would run fine, probably pretty darn good. Not often seen Hercules JK 1-1/2 – 2 HP engine w/ original crank handle, unique fits into the flywheel. Looks to have original wood skids, and paint orginal also. Looks to have the original Wico EK magneto, and it is very hot. I put a little gas in the starter chamber and this motor fired right up, I only ran it for a few seconds, and it seemed to run great. The only thing that was missing was the fuel line, and the exhaust so I put a little home made exhaust tip on there for now, and used the starting chamber to start it. Here is a tough to find piece. This is a Wizard Magneto probably for a Worthington engine. The mag would work on others and the igniter might fit others like Alamo or R&V as well, I’m not 100% sure. The bolt holes are 3 1/2 inches center to center, so if that is what your engine is, it very likely will fit. This setup came from a magneto repair shop and has been completely gone through. New bushings in the mag. New points and the igniter rebuilt. Some new springs and other pieces. Even has the nice new braided wire. I tested it and got a spark out of it on the bench, so it should be ready to put on your engine. These are very hard to find mags and this would make a nice piece to complete your engine. This is a very old uncommon set of four decorative wheels that measure 14.25 in diameter and 2 wide. Axel hole is 1 7/8 diameter. They are rusty but very solid. They do not have any cracks or brakes. The engine is mechanically together. Compression is really strong Wico EK magneto starts the engine right up. Engine hits strong and coasts for a good period of time. I changed fluids today ran it till water in coffin tank hot, it was fun to just watch and listen to. The engine is 100% complete. No water leaks either. I did not paint because I like the antique look, original paint shows in many places and decal is even shadowed on top case! Only flaw is a brazed rocker (photo)included can be replaced (good job of brazing). Gas tank is good with no leaks. Dear chevy272, Checked today fastenal 3PL third party logistics.
