This is a very hard to find cast iron starting crank for an International Harvester 1hp Tom Thumb or Famous/Titan hit and miss gas engine. It fits on a 1 1/8 inch crankshaft and will work to start many engines but it came from the factory with a Tom Thumb or 1hp Famous/Titan engine. The starting lug is in great shape with very little wear. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is part number G6515 and has a prominent IHC logo cast into it. This crank should be ready to go to work starting an engine! These cranks are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one to complete a restoration here it is. It would surely make starting your engine easier! Here is an starting torch for a old FM Y semi diesel engine. The plunger seems to to build pressure. I can hear air hissing out of the burner once I pump it up. There might be a small repair by the burner or that might have been the way it was made, I’m not sure. The tank seems really nice. Check out the pictures and see if you need it. This is an original cast iron starting crank for a Fairbanks Morse T and H hit and miss gas engines. It fits on a 2 inch crankshaft and will work to start many engines but it came from the factory with an early Fairbanks Morse engine. It is part number 24BK1. The starting lug is in excellent condition and functions as it should. I believe this is for the 6hp engines but please measure your engine to be sure it will work for you. It is missing the wooden spinner but the original bolt is in the handle. This crank should be ready to go to work starting an engine! These cranks are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one to complete a restoration here it is. It would surely make starting your engine easier! Here is an original Hauck starting torch that I believe is correct for a Fairbanks Morse Y engine. Seems to be in great shape. I think the pump would probably need a new seal or leather in it before it would actually work. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. About 12-3/4 in overall height.
