This is a very nice original Nathan Handy #4 1 pint size hydrostatic oiler for and old steam engine. It is in as found very nice condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It appears to be complete with all of the original knobs and valves and retains most of its original nickel plating. Other than a little cleaning this should be a usable oiler and has very nice original patina. It stands about 11 1/2 inches tall and has 1/2 npt threads on the bottom. These old hydrostatic lubricators are getting tougher to find in the wild or even at swap meets with each passing year so if you’ve been looking for one for an authentic restoration here’s a very nice one. This is an original cast iron piston and rod for a John Lauson or Alpha DeLaval Model W 2 1/2hp hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. The rod is part number WA25. The assembly is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The wrist pin seems to have some mild wear. The connecting rod bearing looks to be in excellent condition. The piston is 4 inches in diameter. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It will need a wrist pin set screw to be complete. These original Lauson parts are exceedingly tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here’s your chance. The pictures tell the story. This is an original fuel mixer or carburetor for a 1 1/2 or 2hp Sattley hit and miss gas engine. It may fit other models or sizes so please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has some pitting on it which shouldn’t affect its performance. It mounts with two holes 2 1/4 inches apart on center. The fuel needle moves as it should and it has the original choke disk on it as can be seen. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. After just some minor cleaning this mixer should be ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! It seems to be complete with all of the tail nuts and fittings. The valves seem to move as they should. I believe this a 3/4 inch inspirator as the plumbing is 3/4 inch on the bottom and 1/2 inch on top. The body measures about 6 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches. It is marked with the makers name on the barrels. All in all this is a very nice original example. If you need one for any reason this one should serve the purpose. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. This is a very hard to find original steel crankguard or fender for a 6hp Fairbanks Morse Z flywheel type gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind as can be seen. It measures about 7 x 22 inches and sits in the back lip of the crankcase and mounts with one hole to the tab on the back of the hopper. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. It has some very minor separation on the left end of the mounting lip as I’ve shown but this will not hinder its performance at all. These original crankguards are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they’re so often missing so if you need one here’s your chance! The pictures tell the story.
