What you see is what you get. If you are good at soldering you can put a new bottom on it and have a nice tank. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. For questions 419 789 1159. About 11 diameter at the top. 3-1/16 tall not counting the filler necks. Will need repaired before use. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. If you haven’t caught on this is supposed to be mildly funny but yet serious at the same time. If you decide you don’t want it or find another one cheaper you I won’t take it back. This is an original fuel tank for a 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It fits inside the sub base under a 3hp Z engine and measures about 4 x 10 x 17 1/2 inches. It has the original fittings on it and is in very good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It has minimal rust on the bottom and the inside is very dry with some fibrous dusty material that needs to be blown out. This gas tank looks to be ready to be used under an engine after some minimal cleaning and possibly a preventative coat of sealer in the inside. The pictures tell the story. These original gas tanks are quite tough to find so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one.
