This is for a John Deere 6 hp Poly Fuel Tank. My John Deere Tanks are molded out of the same poly as Ford or GM Gas Tanks; They have molded corners and a drain plug. They come in black and can be painted. These tanks are almost indestructible. These are Made In The USA from my mold, We refuse to use import sources to manufacture our specialty parts just to make a bit more profit like others do. Keep in mind these are aftermarket parts not made by Deere, part numbers used only as a reference. Hercules Economy XK Fuel Fill Spout And Tank Hit Miss Stationary Engine

For your consideration is an original Hercules or Economy fuel tank and fill spout # GE 4051 for a XK model Hit Miss Stationary Engine. It seems to have 1-1/4″ NPT threads, and it’s about 6″ overall long. It has red paint on the spout. Also included is the brass fitting that solders and pins to the tank. The part number is GE4050A. The tank has the 1/4 NPT tee fitting on the front for the fuel line. The tank has a dent in it but that shouldn’t effect it to much. I haven’t tested it for Leaks. When I shake the tank and mixer I can hear the check valve rattle but I did not unbolt the tank to look at it.
