This is a real nice old rotary belt driven centrifugal pump. It was made by Red Jacket in Iowa and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It turns over very smoothly and would work great to move the cooling water of a large hit and miss gas engine. It stands about 9 1/2 inches tall and is about 10 inches long. The outside of the vane housing is about 8 1/2 inches in diameter. It is probably called an 8 inch pump. It mounts with four slots and has a v-belt pulley on it. This could easily be changed to a flat belt pulley if you so choose. The pipe threads are 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 inches and are in great shape. This could be a very useful pump in the hit and miss engine world, either for cooling or for a water pump display run by an engine. The pictures tell the story. Here is a reproduction water pump that would be correct for a IHC tray cooled engine. It is missing a couple grease cups and a petcock that goes on top. It I were going to use it I would change out the new looking studs and bolts so it would look better. The pipe threads going into the bottom don’t look perfect but a pipe will thread in no problem. I would plan on using some pipe dope and they should seal just fine. From what I know pumps like these don’s actually work very well when turning slowly. I guess the engine has to be running close to factory speed for them to move much water. Made of cast Iron and cast brass. The base is about 5-1/2 in diameter. The water pipes that go into the base are 1. The pulley face is about 2-7/8″ in diameter and 1-3/4″. The mounting pattern is 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. This is a heavy item, it weighs about 17lbs before packing. Most items will go out faster though. I have many good parts and pieces I will be listing in the next few months. I try to do a very good job of listing everything I sell in a very accurate manner to explain all the good and bad points with the pictures and in the description. So if someone doesn’t pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my friends who also sell engine parts on here who to watch out for. Here is an original water pump drive pulley for a 6hp IHC tray cooled engine. This pulley is two piece and clamps over the crankshaft between the throw and main bearing. It is meant to run a rotary pump that mounts behind the engine. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it! The mounting hole is 3″ in diameter and about 1-3/16″ wide. This is a very scarce original accessory water pump and radiator cooling fan for a Fordson farm tractor. It is in great, as found condition from an old farm shop where it lived in retirement for decades. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that i can see or know of. It appears to be ready to be used on a tractor. Everything turns and moves as it should and isn’t worn out but probably needs some cleaning but that’s the fun part. The blades are in great shape and not all bent up like many of them. The belt pulleys are also in excellent shape. These water pump accessories are extremely difficult to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you’ve been looking for one don’t miss your chance on this one.
