Vintage Machinist Made Toy Steam Engine. This is a larger sized toy engine with a very unusual design. There is a lot of copper that was used in this with what appears to be a brass flywheel, piston and valve body. The screws on the top of the valve and piston body are safety wired together. It has an interesting cam to operate the valve. Mounted on a large wood base. This piece is very heavy for it’s size. The wooden base measures 8 7/8″ x 6/18″. The base plate of the motor is 3 15/16″ x 6″ x 5 5/8 high. The flywheel measures 1 3/4. We gave it compressed air and it does run. Check out the photos.
