This is a real nice original fuel mixer or carburetor for an International Harvester 1 1/2hp Type M gas engine. It is the earliest style mixer with the two needles before they changed to the 3 needle and eventually the single needle. It is part number 9624TA and is in excellent original used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the screw for the choke plate being turned off and the top of the drain valve which is stuck. These are not used unless you run the engine on kerosene. Both needles turn freely and are the early ones with cast iron heads although one has been broken off. I believe this mixer would work as it is or with just a little effort could be made perfect! These early original mixers don’t come up for sale that often so if you need one for your engine or just for a spare on the shelf here it is. The pictures tell the story. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won’t be this nice! You’ll like it.
